Little Cheddar Pies

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets (200g each) shortcrust pastry
  • 4 eggs
  • 250ml cream
  • 100g grated cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C
  2. Cut twelve 5cm rounds out of the pastry and line the cups
  3. In a bowl, beat the eggs, and the stir in the cream, 3/4 of the cheese, and salt and pepper to taste
  4. Divide the mixture evenly amongst the cups and top with the remaining cheddar
  5. Bake until set, usually 15-20 minutes
